Social media account information

When an authorised user connects a supported social media platform, such as TikTok, Facebook or Instagram, PanelAI may process information made available through the platform’s official API.

This may include:

• platform user or account ID,
• username or display name,
• profile information,
• access and refresh tokens,
• granted permissions,
• publication IDs,
• publication status,
• content metadata,
• available analytics and performance data.

Content information

PanelAI may process content required to create, manage or publish social media materials, including:

• product information,
• product images,
• text and captions,
• images and graphics,
• videos,
• audio and voice recordings generated for content,
• campaign information,
• publication schedules,
• publication and performance information.

Technical information

We may process limited technical information necessary to operate, maintain and secure our services, including:

• technical identifiers required for authentication and operation.

5. TikTok integration

PanelAI may use TikTok’s official APIs, including TikTok Login and Content Posting functionality.

When a TikTok account is connected, TikTok provides PanelAI only with the information and permissions authorised by the user through TikTok’s official authentication process.

PanelAI may use these permissions to:

• identify the connected TikTok account,
• retrieve permitted account information,
• upload authorised images or videos,
• publish authorised content,
• check publication status,
• retrieve permitted information relating to published content.

HANDELSHAGE AS does not request or store TikTok passwords.

Authentication takes place through TikTok’s official authorisation system.

Users may revoke PanelAI’s access through TikTok or disconnect the integration through PanelAI where such functionality is available.

6. Facebook and Instagram integrations

PanelAI may connect to Facebook and Instagram using Meta’s official APIs and authentication services.

PanelAI may process authorised account information, content, publication identifiers, publishing status and available analytics where access has been granted by an authorised user.

HANDELSHAGE AS does not request or store Facebook or Instagram passwords.

7. Artificial intelligence and external service providers

PanelAI may use third-party technology providers to create or process content.

These providers may include:

• OpenAI — text, image or audio generation,
• Runway — video generation and processing,
• TikTok — authentication and content publication,
• Meta — Facebook and Instagram integrations,
• hosting, infrastructure, security and technical service providers.

Only information reasonably necessary to perform the requested function is sent to relevant service providers.

Each provider may process information according to its own terms, privacy policies and applicable data processing arrangements.

8. Legal basis for processing

Where the GDPR or other applicable data protection law applies, processing may be based on:

• performance of a contract,
• legitimate interests in operating and securing our services,
• consent where required,
• compliance with legal obligations.

For social media integrations, access is granted by the authorised user through the relevant platform’s official authorisation process.

We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or processed.

Authentication tokens may be retained while an integration remains connected.

Campaign information, publication history and technical logs may be retained where necessary for operation, analytics, troubleshooting, security and business administration.

Information may be deleted or anonymised when it is no longer required, subject to applicable legal, accounting or documentation requirements.

HANDELSHAGE AS does not sell personal data.

Information may be shared with service providers only where reasonably necessary to operate the relevant website, service, social media integration or content creation functionality.

Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law, a court or competent public authority.

Some technology providers used by HANDELSHAGE AS or PanelAI may process information outside Norway or the European Economic Area.

Where required by applicable data protection law, appropriate safeguards are used for such transfers.

No online system can guarantee absolute security.

15. Disconnecting social media accounts and deletion requests

An authorised user may disconnect a connected social media account through PanelAI or through the relevant social media platform where supported.

When an integration is disconnected, stored access credentials should no longer be used to access the disconnected account.

Users may also contact HANDELSHAGE AS to request deletion of personal information associated with an integration, subject to applicable legal retention requirements.

16. Children’s privacy

PanelAI is intended for business and authorised professional use and is not designed as a service for children.

HANDELSHAGE AS does not knowingly use PanelAI to collect personal data directly from children.
